I'm not sure about that, but I think it could be organized like one. The baic levels of organiation could repeat on levels we do not yet understand, making everything like it's own "living thing," meaning the universe, like an organelle, cell, atom, molecule, tissue, organ, organ symstem, organism, population, community, or ecosystem, is one among many. More than one biosphere. . . on up to the universe, and to the other universes, which are a little bit different from our own, but are also very similar in a way.
Or it could be more complicated than that even. A matter or eternity, the metaphysical, etc.

I'll do some more thinking/reading.

I personally believe in other universes. And I have theory of a possible classification set for different planes of existence..
Please bear with me, I haven't put my theory on paper before.

I will now start at the lowest alternate plane of existence.
1st: dimensional planes, basically an extra dimension that would let you enter an different set of 3/4 dimensions that overlap our own.
And that would basically be where a spirit realm would be.

2nd: multiverses, A multiverse contains many similar universes. Similar to the standard media's portrayal of parallel universes. But it wouldn't include all possible permutations of a universe.

3rd: Realities. Realities are basically groupings of multiverses with similar laws of physics. Like in some realities you might be able to get something from nothing. (and quite possibly use the romanticized media version of magic with no cost to you)

4th: Existence,. It contains everything described earlier,, But it may not be the final step. I personally can't comprehend how there could be another existence with what I described.

I am pretty sure I explained that poorly.. And I have no proof so, take what I said as a grain of salt.

Ladies, gentlement, and nerds, I have some science articles to share with you, so hold onto your hats.
They found the Higgs-boson particle. That's right the "God Particle" is finally discovered. Here are some articles about its discovery and why this is not good for the "parallel universe" crowds, as well as the string theory bunch.

http://scienceblogs.com/startswithabang/2010/11/04/the-horror-of-the-higgs/

So, this is very exciting, somewhat controversial, and will probably give a lot of people a headache. . .

Have fun.

It's all over the internet. Some people watched the conference live yesterday, announcements have been made today. There are tons of articles about the finding of the "God particle." The second link was to an article from a while back, before they found it.

They definitely found it, or something just like it. It's confirmed 99%, and a lot of people are talking about it on the internet.
