I believe I have seen an approximation of this creature before as well, but other than that one experience I have had no other encounters. Marble hornets ADMITTED that slenderman was fake, as well as the images and 'sightings' of Slenderman come from somethingawful during their paranormal picture contest, you can tell by the lighting on the Slenderman that he's fake, and if you zoom in, the pixels are different, proving he was manipulated into the image by someone who excels in photoshop.

The fact that both sides admitted this and yet you are all still believing it is just sad.

As for proof, go look up the interviews behind the pictures, as well as Marblehornet's reply to it, saying they fueled the 'slenderman' when they saw the picture and decided to do the videos.
