"I saws it a long time ago as a kid. Back in 1998 when I was a little kid I started having weird dreams of pale, moving tree like figures following me in the woods of the park where my mom worked at the time. I started to lose a lot of sleep from it. One day in school in the middle of class all I could taste was metal and I had this tickle in my throat. I thought I was sick so when my nose started to bleed I thought it was a runny nose. I didn't notice I was bleeding until I started coughing up blood, when I looked down into my hand I noticed my desk had blood on it too. I was sent home that day. I started randomly scribbling the circle with "X" in it everyonce in a while. Then when summer rolled around and school was let out I would visit the park where my mom worked and one day to convince myself there were no such things as monsters. I was wrong as it turned out because I saw a tall tree like man in the woods and he reached for me as I shut my eyes and ran away, I could feel one of his fingers brush the back of my hand and it felt so cold and comforting which scared me worse so I ran harder. And then there was nothing. My mom and the park rangers found me blacked out near the edge of the road just 2 feet from the line of trees with an odd mark on the back of my hand that almost looked like the instant sear from a burn. I hadn't seen him since. Recently about a month ago I started coughing up blood and waking up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat. Then, July 3 on my 20th birthday me and my buddies were out in the woods camping under the full moon, it had rained the prior night and it was making the woods really misty. All three of us could hear strange sounds, almost like voice-less singing (if that makes any sense). We decided to go out and find what it was. Me and my friends are hunters and we are used to tracking at night and stalking prey, but we also know when we are being stalked ourselves. We could see them in the trees. We ran."
