sorry to get back to this thread so late. Uhm, well it does depend on the creature. Something like a unicorn- document it.something evil like Slenderman- try to kill it. 4 out of 7 found this valuable. Do you? |

That is why we do as much research as possible, and I have killed an evil powerful being before. No Im not cocky, though I am young (In my twenties.) But I am not blind either to the truth.

do you kill entire species of "evil" creatures, or only just those that are a danger to humans

"and why suddenly all the hunting interest? whether its my kind or vamps or any other manner of creature.... humans are a strange lot....."those who hunt(including your own, every species has a couple of hunters and maniacs, and other out there's) do it for three reasons: 1. for monutary value, 2. to protect the innocent/ those they love, and 3. because some people are simply asswhole's with no hobbies... I prefer the second one but the others are out there and most hunters ("good ones") have conflict with other hunters("bad ones") and so some hunters hunt other hunters and their own kind if the threat is great enough... the same as a guardian or peacekeeper must fight for peace, either verbaly or physically, those who wish peace must fight for peace or must influence it; many think weapons and hand to hand combat(and long ranged weapontry) are the only ways to fight for peace.... there is always a second option, and their is always more then one possible out come to an event... the only way to get better odds for your wanted outcome is to influence it and even then there is still odds against you 1 out of 1 found this valuable. It depends on what I was looking for; what it did to me first, once I found it. If it was a mer-person, Israel will pay you for it. So catch it and get paid! If it was something else like a fae, vampire, lycanthrope, etc. Study it and document it, if given permission (If said creatures were intelligent enough to communicate). Some I would just keep to myself, like most fae and probably aliens.

Me: I have never hunted before but I do tend to have over protective tendencies and will do so much as keep a sword or dagger with me should there be trouble towards people I love. If I did hunt I would hunt to protect people I love.
