Weird Coincidence?

kinda creepy i never even heard of this guy and i had a bad dream about something that looked like this. i suffer from night terrors so im used to seeing messed up things but i also research them afterwards to see what they mean and i wrote "tall demonology" in google and i think it was on the second page i first read about "slender man" and its creepy cause its down to a tee of what they say he looks like. so personally idk if this is odd coincidence but at the same time our imaginations are driven by something subconcious so for all we know he could be real and we just made a myth to go on about it like a parody. face it weve always had thoughts of something that looks like him at one point with nothing to really influence it at all o.o so im still currently looking on info on this guy so if you guys have info on where it started or some extra background info send me an Email sometime and tell me what you know thanks. email: misfit_2_culture52@hotmail.com 5  out of 6 found this valuable. We don't always remember everything we see, so it could be an old memory resurfacing in that way. I once came up with a fictional magic system involving demons that I later found out was almost identical to the Bartimaeus Trilogy, which I'd read a long time ago, then completely forgot about. One explanation for dreams that people have come up with is the brain organizing memories. Maybe it just never got to that until it was so long ago, and so irrelevant to your life at the time, that you thought it was just a dream. Another one: No face in a dream can be one you came up with on your own. It has to be one you've seen before. If you Google something and look at Image Search, it will show pictures with that thing in them, but sometimes other stuff too, or just completely irrelevant things. Maybe he showed up in some picture that way? If a glance is enough to count as seeing the face before, but probably not enough for you to remember consciously. Now for a third interpretation: Suppose, as a kid, you saw a tall, thin man in a suit that creeped you out. Not unlikely, as that's more intimidating than, say, a short, fat guy in a t-shirt with pizza stains. In fact, that probably happened to other kids too. And then they were distracted by a shiny toy and forgot after a while- fast enough to not remember again, or when young enough that they forgot. But what about when they were still scared? Kids have overactive imaginations. Some people react to creepy or scary people by making up things about them. The one detail added that seems unusual is the stretchy limbs, and that fits the Tall And Thin thing. Vanishing children aren't highly original(No offense to your possible past self, if they care about originality). You forgot, it came back as a dream, etc etc. Two people giving an imaginary bad guy with similar characteristics the same power isn't that strange when you take into account how many people have lived by now. Do you find this valuable?
