any TRUE physical shapeshifters out there?

I've been dreaming for more than a decade now about turning into that mythical werewolf (bipedal sometimes, sometimes fully wolf) and am searching for a way to get that dreampower to the physical realm. NO FUN. So, if there's a true vukodlak, werewolf or loup garou, gimme a sign. It's rather lonely out there in the world...

I sometimes have dreams like that, though, where I can "see" with my eyes closed and fly. I know exactly how to do it, and I can even "feel" the sensations I used to do such things in the real world. But, sadly, they don't actually work. It's the cold, hard fact of life: Reality sucks. Myth is myth, false is false. But we've gotta pull together, buck up, and move on past the childish stages and embrace real life. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

If you were following your own advice, you'd be working on excel or wallstreet or such crap and drop your dreams as rubbish. If there's really no more than "matter that has always been and will always be" as the old communists said, we're already in hell, in Dante's way. Hopeless. Well, don't take it personal, "x-wolfhunter". After about almost 20 years of "questing for my hearts desire, my sarcasm is probably just "biting at the closest thing". I KNOW life sucks, especially as a lowly, mortal human. Humans kill the the biosphere, planet, all hope for survival, and in the end, themselves. Thats the whole reason one wants to ascend to something higher. Better never born than being prey. Do you find this valuable? |

Philosophy and poetry have one thing in common, if they are to be called art: Truth. The first must seek it, sense it and become aware there's something more than flesh and bone and blood, more than the rock beneath your feet and the wind in your hair, while the second must give it shape in a way that others can percieve it, be it drawing, poem or even a movie. Thing is , without TRUTH, everything is hollow, like the Matrix. Its a lie, nothing less and nothing more. Most people live in such "Matrix" lies. They believe that a good income, a modern lifestyle or fancy belongings make them better than they are, or that they get post-mortem advantages in netherworld, be it with harper angels, huris or whatever, if they just behave after a certain restrictive...manmade...morale codex. But one day...fate slaps one sideways, the house burns to the ground, wife leaves with children, and since they are effectively bankrupt, neither "friends" nor co-believers will even think about lending a hand to help him get up again (that is, if he still lives), so he ends in the gutter or the grave. Just take a look at the latest catastrophies: oil leaking platforms and tankers, lots of probably man made diseases to make money, and my personal negative favorite: Fukushima. All signs of the End Of Days? Nope. Man just has a knack to destroy everything he touches...as for your question, Ragdoll, don't get me wrong; I love nature for just this simple, almost crude quality of life, where you know whats going on, at least half of the time. I would gladly give up everything I am as a human being except my soul, as I believe there is something of my persona stored within (without personality, we're nothing but borg), to get my "true shape" that is, the one I feel at home in, trading one life that doesn't mean anything to me for one that would be my "holy grail". One way wolf shift. The power to survive almost everything.

Hey Ragdoll, the philosopher is back. I thought a bit about your idea with auto hypnosis. If there's even a trace of wolfling blood in my line, which is, after all, old nobility from moldavia (coupled with my 31st october birth), most of the signs (meeting eyebrows, close community to all kinds of beasts, especially dogs with lupine looks, among others), that could do the job. "Reconnecting on DNA" or what I red somewhere, y'see. By the way, its nice to know there's SOMEONE who has a sense for the finer arts. Congratulations! You seem to belong to the 5% of evolved humans (or whatever...) that deserve survival. So if you have any hot tips on that auto hypnosis thing, be it books, sites, whatever, gimme a hint. I'd appreciate it. (and sorry for doing all that communications incognito...but y'know, people tend to react strangely towards those who speak openly and don't hide their intentions in lies and charming appearance. Angry peasants mob syndrome. Unhealthy thing, really.)

People like you believe in their own little illusionary world, so easely shattered by a hurricane, plague or war...trying to force that upon other races and religions, old game, really. Then, all falls appart and the same people run to their churches and pray for health or salvation. Now if those people aren't childish or degenerate, I don't know. Don't think your "normality" grants anyone protections. If you start talking to the wrong people like that, and especially when they are face to face, you might regret it.
