Those Saying Werewolf are Inaccurate.

Werewolves, real or fantasy, are different from a Loup Garou. A werewolf, or man wolf, would have more of a physical appearance such as those portrayed in the film underworld, or the TV show Buffy the vampire slayer. In both of these the werewolves have both human and wolf like appearance ex. able to stand and walk on hind legs, opposable thumbs, and a wolf like face. a Loup Garou is a man or woman that shifts into an actual wolf, and retains the intelligence, and the awareness of its human self. I have heard myths that argue that the wolves are no different then any other wolves, and I have heard the myths and fiction that argues that they are larger versions much like those from the twilight fiction.

One thing that does remain constant for both werewolves and Loup Garou is that they both retain their advanced wolf senses when they are in human form. Another feature that can be similar depending on the myth is that like a Loup Garou, some werewolves have the capability to change at will.

I hope this will be useful to someone, and if not, I enjoy this being my first post.
