Slender Man

The original name was scarecrow. It was said that they used to stalk children and steal them. And on occasion it was said that they turned the children they stole into horde of the evil dead. Thus the movie The Children Of The Corn. Was apparently the scarecrow was cursed by a raged spirit or witch to have similar of a slender man with no face and powers of not being seen but by the people they were seeking out.
