when i was young and lived in Philippines my mom used to make us all go to the province and visit my great great g-ma she used to live at the edge of the mountain really creepy forest..
she was scary cuz she look soo old with a hunch back and her house was build into wat looks alike a cave from wat i remember..we would visit her couple times but only during the day but we would never stay after dark...i remeber she would scratch my forehead with red stuff smell like rotten flowers and oils all over our arms and legs.. she was never mean to us just diffrent.. later on when i got older i ask her about g-mammam she said they called her the aswang in the barrio but people used to come to her too for medicine and to drive away evei spirits or bad luck.... thats wat she was doing for us whenever we visit her she put spells of good luck and drive away any evil eye away> shes passed on now bless her spirit..........but im proud to have bloodline connection with her.........luv u gmomma....
