I a former believer too.I don't think that there is such thing as a God.Possibly some sort of higher power but not a God.When I was a christian God never did anything for me.

God is real and for the question about what has he done for me this is the simplest yet the hardest question ive ever seen in my life hes done so many things for me. before i was a christian i loved to argue just for the meer plesure, but then one day i descided to open my bible and read alittle. the exact verse i opened up too said that i should not argue just for fun and another verse said (from proverbs 15:13 somewon emailed me this.) -hatred stirs up quarels but love covers all sin- tese two verses hit a home run on my life and i hope this message helps you too.

Then I figured it out.It gives a person satisfaction to know the answers to life's ultimate questions.I mean honestly,who wouldn't?So basically religion exists to feed our hunger for answers.It's been that way ever since humans first became self-aware. God is so real. I've prayed on so many occasions, and he has certainly answered--even if that answer was a "no". Remember, God doesn't always give us what we want; he gives us what we NEED. I hope you get your faith back ;)~Clessa Winters Do you find this valuable? |
