Actually it was just Greek. Its Roman equivalent was Caelus.

Actually, you're wrong. All, or atleast most of the Roman Gods are just Greek Gods with Name changes and New attitudes. If you bothered to notice, Mars is named after the Roman god Mars, who was basically just the Greek God Ares. I think Uranus was Hera or something. So technically, you're correct, but only about the name. It's both a Roman & Greek God. I will guess you don't follow Greek Mythology to closely. Read up, then enjoy =DP,s, for the record, I believe in most Myths, incuding that of the Greeks. 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Ouranos was the Greek version. When the Romans took over Greece they "perfected" the mythology. Hence "Uranus."
