"Wendigos are the spawn of vampires and wolf-like demons known as lycans. Wendigos perferred to feast on human hearts and are very intelligent creatures that often rely on animal-like instincts when hunting for there prey. They usually rip their victim's heart out with their razor sharp claws and rarely use their teeth for anything other than eating. Their hide is very tough and cannot be pierced by human weapons, although Mithril-silver will usually do the trick."
