I read a book series called "Blue Bloods" and there, there was a theory that the settlers that had settled there were all fallen angels seeking to escape Lucifer's wrath and that instead of escaping him, they'd unknowingly brought him over with them to the new world and as they slept, Lucifer massacred them and drank their blood (the blood of other fallen angels/vampires), thus driving him insane.
Still, that was probably just the authors imagination at work, but it was a good book. I'm not saying I believe it or that it's true, just something that I read and remembered. 4  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?

lol I was hoping there was some kind of actual background on Croatoan, but i guess not xD Do you find this valuable?
