xXPixieXx	Tooth Fairy Sep 4 2011, 5:57 PM EDT \| Post edited: Sep 4 2011, 5:57 PM EDT So, I saw 'Don't Be Afraid of the Dark' last night (It wasn't bad, not particularly scary though) and they had some interesting mythology woven into the story. I don't wanna spoil the movie for anyone, so I wont do into detail. All you need to know is that it somehow lead me to researching the origins of the 'Tooth Fairy'. Thus far, I have read about burying your child's baby teeth to keep them out of the hands of witch's, and about vikings wearing jewellery of children's teeth for good luck in battle... And apparently many countries in europe like France and Spain have a Tooth Mouse, and not a Tooth Fairy. Thought I would share this little nugget of knowledge and see you all think/know.
