A Redcap is a malevolent little creature similar to faeries or goblins. They are said to murder any unsuspecting traveller unfortunate enough to stumble into their territory. Their favoured method of homicide is to crush humans with boulders. They are often depicted as little old men with sharp teeth and claws. The Redcap is called so for the red hats they wear, the colour of which they sustain by regularly dyeing their hats in their victims blood.

Cheery little creatures they are.
