Sirens

I heard that Sirens are also very, very beautiful that draws the male sailors to them. As well as their enchanting singing, soon when the sailors come face to face with the Sirens, the Sirens eat them. Otherwise what I'm trying to say is that they're man-eating mermaids--at least that's what I've heard?

there are a few versions. that one is most popular, but there is also thaty they have bird bodies and womens heads, but cast an illusion with their song to make them look like actual women
