my first supernatural experience

Me and my family went on vacation to Jefferson, Oregon. It's a really small town in the Willamette Valley. We were staying at a friends house. The School was about 4 maybe 5 blocks from their house. I had met a boy that lived across the street and we decided to go to the school to play. The rule was that as long as I was back before dark I wouldn't get into trouble. It was getting late so we decided to head back. As we were walking by a house that was boarded up we noticed a light in the attic window. Being kids we were curious. We didn't go into the house but we looked at the window closer. I'm not sure how long we stared at the window, but it didn't seem like it was that long. An old woman looked out the window and started screaming at us. My friend and I could hear the voice, but the only words that we could understand was kids and leave. Needless to say we ran back to where I was staying as fast as we could. I don't know if my friend told his parents about it or not. I told my parents what had happened, and my mother told me that I probably saw a ghost. Neither of my parents knew why the house had been boarded up. They did know that there had been an elderly woman that lived there and had passed away. They didn't know what her name was, but that she hated children. Being young as I was I didn't know how to do any research. I did do some research a few years later and found out that I wasn't the only one that had seen lights on in the attic. I could never find out who the woman in the window was. Since that day I have been a firm believer in the supernatural. Since then I have also had a few other experiences with strange things and have seen what I believe to be ghosts or some other type of entity. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
