.... Have you tried to force your dream to re-shape based on pure stubbornness? It works wonders for defeating or breaking nightmares... Or it might just be me. Do you find this valuable?

I've only done something of my own free will once in a dream. I actually talked to someone in a dream and when I told him that this was just a dream, he just looked away.
Do you find this valuable?

ya, nightmares with iyoui are a lot different then the ones others have
you DONT control them
if you have an extreamly strong will than you can occasionally change minor things but thats it

That's the thing. I never have control of my dreams. Imagine if an artist was on acid and watched the movie "Mirror Mask".

besides you have to first be aware that you are dreaming to try anything

One thing though. In all of my nightmares, it's never been like that. And I never have control.
But they're always very clear.

I doubt all of my nightmares have been caused by that. But some of them have been bad enough for me to suppress.

correct
in fact 80 percent of the time i cant tell i'm dreaming till its over
15 percent of the time i find out halfway through
5 percent of the time i can tell right away

dont do that... I mean literally re shape it. make a branch a sword, a cupboard a room, stuff like that.
