Ghost stories, anyone?

So I am setting up this thread to swap some ghost stories and supernatural experiences. I am a bit of a skeptic, myself, or at least I am not a hardcore believer in the supernatural, but I have had some very strange and seemingly unexplainable experiences in my life that could be attributed to the supernatural, so I'm certainly open to sharing them and listening to the stories of others. Anyway, I will start off this shebang by describing a very odd experience I had around 9 years ago. I was living in a victorian duplex in Pennsylvania at the time, and my brother and I had been left to our devices on that Saturday morning. Being the 8 and 12 year old kids that we were, we decided that a game of hide and go seek was in order. I hid in the crevice between the stairs and the wall. I saw my brother walk right past me. I giggled profusley, thinking, "what a dumbass, I'm right here," but he seemed to be very distracted. His foot was on the first step and his head was tilted intently toward the hallway that the stairs led to. He then ran up the stairs. A few minutes later he came back down, saw me, and said, "How did you do that?!"
"Do what?" I asked.
"Get back down here so fast?"
"Alex, I was down here the whole time," I replied.
He, very confused and fairly convinced that I was pranking him, said that he saw my shadow scamper down the hallway. I wasn't entirely sure if HE wasn't lying, but I kept my mouth shut. The next Saturday, around the same time, I was walking up the stairs when I saw, in the crisp morning light, in the entirely empty hallway, the incredibly clear shadow of a boy run down the hall. I went into my brother's room to find him fast asleep.
