I'm curious of what others know on kitsune

I'm rather curious to see what others know of kitsune it's also somewhat funny to see how little or how wrong one can be on something but mostly giving and correcting the info they seemed to have been given that was wrong from the start is an objective to this but also to see if there are things that some kitsune (regardless of if they know they are one or not) may know that others may not. Do you find this valuable?

As far as I know, a kitsune is a Japanese fox with as many as nine tails. The more powerful the creature is, the more tails it has, though one of its tails is the main one and if you cut off that tail, the kitsune loses all its power.
A kitsune is said to be able to shapeshift from a fox into a human, and back again. Also, it can apparentely duplicate the appearance of people other than its original human form. The normal human form of a kitsune is a young girl, beautiful woman or older man.

They are incredibly intelligent and the older and wiser they get, the more powerful they become. The ability to shapeshift into a human is usually learnt at the age of 100 years, though some sources say 50.

Many myths and legends say that they are tricksters with malevolent or mischievous motives, and others say that they are almost treated as gods, receiving offerings.

They are peaceful creatures, as far as I can tell.

:D I hope I helped! If you want some more information, type the word 'kitsune' into the google search engine and click on the wikipedia page. There is a lot of info there!

As far as I get to know about them some of them are evil and are actually feeding on human's fear and nightmares.
