There are three types of zombie today. Each one can have verying traits, but all three are distinguishable.

The first and easiest to recognize is the solanum zombie. This is the zombie seen in Night of the Living Dead (the very first zombie movie) and is seen in Shawn of the Dead.
Solanum zombies are slow, moan in a low tone, and will only chase a victim as much as they can see it.
(always remember of course these traits can vary, but slowness always remains)

The second zombie is the Rage zombie. These are not technically dead, but have been infected to become extremely angry. When rage zombies see a victim, they will chase the person down until they catch the person or have been killed.

The third zombie is T-Virus ( the zombies dont have to be cOntrolled by a virus, it is simply the given name) the T-Virus zombie has the ability to mutate its body/ or has been mutated to fit a desired role. ( think residen evil)

Note that each form of zombie has different weaknesses and strengths, and you must never underestimate what they can do.

Those may be the three types of movie zombie, but you've left out revenents from traditional mythology and voodoo zombies believe to actually exist in a form. Do you find this valuable?
