Kappa: Small, froglike creature that lives in rivers, and like the mermaid, will pull in and drown children. It has a "bowl" on its head that contains water from the river in which it lives. The only way to escape it is to bow to it, as it will return the bow and spill the water from its head. It is then unable to move until the bowl is refilled. Kappas also love cucumbers. Do you find this valuable?

the kappa also is known for taking adults as well as children and pulling them in rivers and devouring the intestines and soul through the anus Do you find this valuable?
