This info is fake

This was clearly made by an ignorant pathetic vampire-obssesed prick.
The most clear fake for me was the Brazilian one. Also the mexican one's name is made up of false ethymologies, and natives didn't even have wheat or rye to make bread and they didn't understood the concept of meteorites. Those legends couldn't have been originated after the Spaniard dominion because they were against belief of all myths besides the Christian ones (that's why there was no spaniard vampire legend either)

I assure you the myths are quite well documented. You may not know the entire culture as well as you thought. 2  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

Even if there was a real vampire it would be the Egyptian Goddess Sekhmet and a few other Gods drank blood because Egyptians considered blood the source of life. Other cultures link vampires to animals. Humans were never vampires until the 18th century and ranged from rabies cases to lack of understanding on how dead bodies decompose.. It would actually suck to be a vampire before the modern culture started giving them powers and actually making them attractive instead of bloated corpses. Seriously though if your going to call yourself a vampire or even say you saw one we know your an idiot who doesn't even have enough sense to use a myth that hasn't been dis-proven again and again. Your better off claiming to be a bigfoot.

No one said they weren't real...but why shouldn't we hate on them. They're bloodthirsty beasts. Even if some have good minds, they can't control themselves.

We dont have proof that they can or cant control themselves really. There is a scientific diagnosis for the thirt or obsession with blood that people call Vampirism too. I do think that some people can have characteristics. My extremely light sensitive and I've always burned easy. I also like the nighttime better than day. But I've heard it said that blue eyed people are normally light sensitive, and my night preference could just been the alure of the "hidden" factor of night or the lovely beauty of the stars & moon. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. I like your logical approach to things...
I was just saying that based on what I know and beleive, and what the general population here (the sane popualtion, that is) seems to have established, the vampire has great difficulty controling bloodlust. Besides, I think becoming undead would pretty much have to affect mental stability and moral center, wouldn't you say?

What are we making up?
Vampires were monsters for thousands of years in thousands of different cultures, but a few middle-aged women with nothing better to do write cheesy romance books and thousands of years of lore is suddenly trash by thousands of screaming teenagers? What is the world coming to?

Logical and stated in proper English (as far as I saw). I might not agree totally, but I respect your approach.
Just how was the myth disproven, though? It's all in the eyes of the beholder...or the mind.

I hope this comment wasn't out of line for a moderator.
Also, can anyone see productive conversation coming out of this thread? It looks to me like another "vamps is kooolll!!! u r a ******* ****" versus "vampire ar evil you ****ing ****er" debates that look just like the ten thousand other beligerent, non-punctuated, online screaming matches that turn my face red and kill my brain cells.
Than I end up joining in with my own useless comments and inciting further "u a **** *** **** *** vampirs is ***** the ****** **** and**** u if u don ****** agee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and such.
