To the people claiming to be Crusniks or descended from them. Yeah ******* right. The one thing I do notice is that all you can't spell worth a ****. Like I am really going to believe you're Vampires... GTFO 14  out of 20 found this valuable. Do you?

Amen to that. I have people telling me they're vampires, and when I tell them that that is impossible, they try to convince me of it. Never have I felt so awkward life. 2  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

At the very least, a "higher being" should look like it, ie, not spell like an idiot. Furthermore, those who claim to be vampires are almost definitely not, as a true vampire would not make claims to avoid the attention.

Also, liking to drink blood and needing to are two different things. Let me see you survive and actually live well on a pure blood diet for a few months and I'll believe you. Until then tho, I'll reserve the wooden stake for something thats more realistic, like putting up a tent.

I agree with all four of you, though from a different perspectve.

If I were some sort of supernatural being, and I'm not saying I am, because honest to god, I find the idea of a nonstop nothing-but-blood diet absolutely revolting--but if I were, I would be smart enough *not* to advertise my condition. In fact, upon 'turning,' if such a thing is even possible, I'd probably be so shell-shocked that I'd try to hide my differences. Epic battles you find in books don't happen in real life and even if they did, we're probably not supposed to know about them for a reason. Humanity has too much of a record of rejecting that which is different and inspires true fear, as such a crature most likely would if exposed to the masses.

That brings me to my second point. Let's assume that one, these creatures do exsist, and two, they are capable of great feats, whether magical or otherwise. in every lore and legend 've heard, and I've done extensive research on the topic--such powers do not come without both a price and years and years of practice, if not training from one more experienced. One would assume that a creature old enough to display mastery of ny given ability wold be experienced enough to prove my first point, in realizing that publicity is *not* a good idea. <C>

Thirdly, let's take a look at nature. The food chain, specifically. Anyone who has half a brain knows what I'm about to get at, but for those of you idiotic nincompoops who don't, let me explain. Every ecosystem follows a certain food chain. For instance, in a forest, a small insect may feed on decaying plant life. That insect is eaten by a bird, which is eaten by a weasel, which is eaten by a wolf, and so on. With every ascending level, there are lss aless predators. For every ten insects, there may only be one bird. And for every ten birds, there are likewise, shall we say, three weasels. And for every three weasels, there is one wolf. You do the math, though again, it's purely off the top of my head, but long story short, that's a helluva lot of insects for one friggin wolf.

Now let's apply that to our human/vampire/crusnik foodchain. Regular lore, any way you slice it, will tell you that vampires are already scarce. Scarce enough that no one believes they still exsist. With that ratio of humans to vampires, (And yes, it's okay to use a dictionary if you don't get some of the bigger words, kiddies.) doubled over to the ratio of vampires to crusnik, there can't be more than handful of them across the entire globe. That means that the ones which are left, of course, were smart enough to survive whatee it was, that again, hypothetically, caused their food source to dwindle so low, the most obvious manner of which being, again, to *LAY LOW.*

So you get my point, fakes or not. I won't confirm or deny the exsistance of such creatures--who knows, one may decide to track me down and kill me in my sleep out of spite! But I will say this. Every reference I've read which depicts a vampire, or vampiresque creature, much less a Cruznik, which could survive in modern society, has developed a very strict code which *thrives* on secrecy. So figure that into your attention-whoring, ladies and gents.
