Most people love elves they appeal to the part of us that seeks perfection, as that is what they are the perfect people, their only weakness is the one that may humans take no notice of until our deaths and in that is our greatest weakness, that of course being regret, eternity is along time to make a lot of mistakes, and regret withers a elf, like it withers a man. until eventually they give up living all together, their beauty fades and their body corrodes until they are nothing more than wraiths. P.S. Elves are up there in the top 5 for me
