On Were-creatures
Mar 28 2011, 4:38 PM EDT
On Rogue Talon's statement "...the real werewolfs don't know how to use the web...", I'd like to say that werewolves are /humans/ that /become/ wolves every full moon. That's once a month. Werewolves and werecreatures can live in society any time except then, so Talon is wrong in that fact. Aside from this, werecreatures are mostly human with an 'inner animal', so to speak. In the Inheiritance Cycle, there is a werecat (a being with the ability to switch forms between cat and human at will) and not limited to the 'full moon trigger'. That ability is similar to a lycan, which is a werewolf with the ability to transform whenever, not just during the full moon. True Werewolves, however, are usually portrayed as losing their sense of humanity at the time of transformation, and pass along the 'disease' through biting their victims. I am not entirely sure if this is common for other were-beings.

So, even though everyone says not to believe it, the wolves in New moon are actually lycan?

New Moon? You mean Twilight?Think they were labelled as 'shapeshifters'. A redundant name, seeing as shapeshifter is a descriptive term rather than a class of being. Werewolves are shapeshifters, but so are the Fae, a devalpa and caterpillars. It's like me saying Humans, Monkeys, Sharks and Dogs are all 'smilers' because we can all smile. A terribly ridiculous method of classification. Do you find this valuable? |

yes, but the full moon theory theirs nothing magical about the moon, well i cant say that the moon is a spiritual and bright emblem of many religious and races that does`nt mean that the werewolves have to change at a full moon

Now listen The Loup Garou (werewolves) Change on free will, There spirit is a wolf, They walk amungst humans and act like, humans. And the "bite" is wrong you can be turned into a werewolf, It`s by birth! soo..... your thinking wrong sir.... no disrespect meant towards you. facts, are facts. thanks.Do you find this valuable? |
