Lost civililisation of golems

I remember seeing a sci-fi/adventure show some time ago (i think it was forever knight) where the last golem came to nyc to die after living for a thousand years, but the golem passed on it's curse/power to a chosen character in a form of a tattoo which was transferred at the last second of the old golems life. Suppose the tattoo is the scroll in translated form. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
