can someone tell me what wood nymphs are supposed to do? i mean like i know about the Daphne story, but i want info on WOOD NYMPHS. 6  out of 11 found this valuable. Do you?

Wood Nymphs are basicly supposed to make nature...they don't have anything speaific to do except bringing nature beauty. Actually no one knows for sure what they do, nothing really tells us. They just are gorgous Nymphs that make men go gaga for them and then they turn into trees if they try and touch them.
Tree Huggers don't hug and protect for nothing. 3  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

Woodnimfs or Dryads are Connected with the trees and plants.
Their existence is connected with the tree. If a tree grows a dryad is born. If the tree dies the nimf dies with the tree.
It makes them the protectors of the tree/forrest .

In general terms all nimfs are protectors of Nature.
