Shapeshifters to skin walker.

The only story I have found on the modern star trek changling or shapeshifter is the skinwalker. Out of Native American folklore, the skinwalker is a person with the ability to change into anything(mostly animals) they wanted. I have recently heard there is a canadian native tribe that are shapeshifters. I have not been able to confirm this though.

I thought they had to wear the skin of the thing they wanted to become.After all,they are called SKIN walkers.
