what does God look like ??

I cant stop thinking of God as a gentle old man with a nice white beard and a big smile on his face.
If God exists then i think he is some kind of energy.Maybe an unsoppable force or a combination of elements that created the universe.
I try to believe in God.

why do you have to say you dont think of him as "a gentle old man with a nice white beard." if you are inferring that he isnt so nice and generous he is. sometimes he allows destruction to happen because this whole world is starting to crumble with its violence and sin that we all commit. But another reason why he might allow things to happen to us personally is because if we truly beleive in the Lord we must live the life that his son Jesus lived which was a life of persecution and hurt.think about it most of the richest and wealthiest people do not beleive in god or even have a religion... why? because they supposedly already have everything they need. he is testing us and showing us that one day he will come and we have to be prepared and signs of that are everywhere. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Well, technically, for the part about He allows destruction for us, we really just do it to ourselves. He gives us a free will so we're not like puppets or anything. we like to blame Him for what we do because its our nature. but if you sit down and think about it and read about it, we caused and deserved a lot of that destruction. and about the part about living the life of Jesus, we should live the way He did, but the main key was to believe he came to die for the sins of the word.

He really has no true form.In the bible it says that he created us in his image and it also says that when we see him he will look us. Do you find this valuable?
