elves ain't lord of the rings

Firstly, Elves do not look like legolas!! J.R.R. Tolkien made up his view of elves (even though it's a pretty cool view of them), but they're not actually what they look like, I think the real elves look a little less human.

actually you've got it the wrong way round. The original description of elves are a lot like the way J.R.R. Tolkien describes them. Whilst he did take different aspects from many different cultures and made them seem more angelic they are a lot closer than most people get.
