i know this is kinda stupid buuut......
I have a friend whos family own a farm in Texas, they visit all the time and theirs an old woman who lives around there, I mean WAY old. She told kat, my friend, of a story thats been in her family since this all happened. *Did i mention this lady says her mom was a fairy, btw, according to tests, she COMPLEATLY sane* any way, the story...
The little girl became ill while on the voyage, and the Nymphs of the sea didnt like that one bit. They had come to love the girls joy and laughter, so they promised the captian theyd heal his daughter and take his family and the entire crew to some far off world where theyd be happy. The captian, whos daughter was getting worse by the second. Began to gather things in hast, spilling RED wine *were not taking into account that back then, people liked to spice things up, and if the ship was floating for long, then blood, or red wine, would have dried and lost its flavor and smell, meaning that the police had no for sure way of knowing the diffrence between blood and wine...* and left with his family and crew. This may be an old ledgend thats made its way into story books.... who knows. Just thought it was kinda a good story.
