The dragon page is being assaulted by D&D lunatics...
Nov 2 2010, 11:25 AM EDT
I feel ashamed as I sit here purging my eyes with this dragon -themed smut. A warm-blooded reptile? Magical, air-current-grabbing wonder scales?? Eating whales??? Dear lord, don't depend on modern fantasy stories for a guide to a real creature, use the actual historical records to better determine what sort of creature these ignorant provential European and rice farmers were describing. All original reports of dragons contain descriptions of hairy manes and furry areas, mammalian teeth, mammalian wings, mammalian heads, usually no larger than a horse or cow... COME ON PEOPLE. That doesn't sound like a magical, 60 foot, ferocious, friggin' geyser of unrealistic fire-spewing, somehow warm-blooded reptile that can somehow turn invisible and fart time and space energy. Delete this whole page and start over with real-life references.

Who cares about a difference between a "real" or "movie dragon". Dragons could be smaller then said, have mammal like features, but who really cares. let people believe what they want. And if you don't think its right, why did you comment on a site about this stuff.

I shall explain: Most of this is theoretical work deduced from hundreds of stories and and thousands of references. Dragons accros the world and through history have had many forms and shapes, from a few inches to supposedly sorrounding the world. With No limbs to having several dozens. And ofcourse the stories from severl thousand years ago didn't have our science, so ofcourse there is magic, and all that stuff. further more its OBVIOUS due to modern physics and bilogical knowledge that an anyimal that large needs to be warm blooded for it to survive, let alone fly. Thats the short version of it, so deal with it. You know I am right. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

The bible has dragons too. One example is in Genisis about the serpent which my research has led as the same thing as the Chinese dragon. There are world wide stories on the dragon that I refuse to think that someone just made it up.
