In terms of body and powers there are no major accepted differences. Many things attributed to one of these is often synonymous with the other.

However, pixies are of British (or Celtic) origin while fairies stem from mainland Europe. Mythology tells of a time when the fairies first came to Britain and fought a war with the pixies. The pixies won and drove the fairies out of Cornwall, Devon and Somerset. Do you find this valuable?
