How did Aurness' diary get in the mine? and for that matter, how did he detail it if he was never there? 17  out of 20 found this valuable. Do you?

It was set there by the crazy surviver guy. Aurness didn't write abuot what happened in the mine but obviously would of mention that he was jerk and left his men to rot in the mine without helping their families. In any case the survivors could of writen in there own account. 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

"along with Aurness' diary which contained details of the events which occurred over two years ago" is the exact quote. The diary described the events that happened that trapped the miners. It is perfectly plausible he recorded his musings of what to do and once he decided to leave the men to die he threw his diary down there to hide any written evidence that he witnessed the catastrophe. Nowhere in the text does it say the diary recorded what happen within the last two years, only what happened two years **ago. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
