Oh and someone asked where he'd take you? he takes you to the land that he conquered by force, Malice, hence the name of the book. It originally used to be ruled by the Big Six (one is the lank that claims seth as her champion for his archery). anyway, it was ruled by six "gods"(?) that were overthrown and then he started and evil comic book industry that shows actual moments in Malice, which encouraged kids to preform the ritual mentioned above. Very rarely did anyone leave Malice, but when they did they suffered memory loss from anything about Malice. They remembered NOTHING about malice but if mentioned, they would FLIP OUT. Most people were eaten by chitters, machines that were powered by crystals that sucked up peoples life forces. even if you went in there like, body builder strong, if you ate the sludge crap they had in there, it slowly killed you. Not like poisen, but it would weaken you so much the chitters would get you. and when the chitters collected all the life force they could, they took it to the top of the clocktower to be put in metal animals that devoured human flesh. pretty cool, huh?
and theres tons of subdivisions of Malice, like the forest whose name i can't remember, the city, the train station, the clocktower, or the under ground obliete(?NAME SPELLING?). "
