The green man is also known to be a Celtic god...and the watcher of the forest. A male mother nature so to speak. 10  out of 11 found this valuable. Do you?

Indeed, even today he's a very big deity, one which the catholic church incorporated in many English church designs. He is said to be the very life force of the forests and the green world. The most common image of him, is a elderly face, made of bark and wreathed in leaves, he kind of looks like tree beard...sort of. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

One of them hehehe. Cernunos, i can't remember the exact spelling, was the Lord of beasts, and is often depicted with horns or antlers. He would punish those who slaughtered animals needlessly. 1  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?
