Evil Character?

I'm writing a story and in the story, they are in a place where anything can happen, it's a boy in a Harry-Potter-Percy-Jackson-situation. Anyhow there's this one big evil character and I've tried to get a name for him, he's German so...any ideas?

I was going to use Kronos, but he's been used.

Nacht Ruperecht. A German monster of old folklore, who had large horns and carried a scythe. I think he arose from the fading Pagan way of life, and so he was a strange monster, who would give gifts to those who followed the Old Gods and destroy those who did not. Almost like a evil Santa Claus.

He was also followed around by little dwarf like demon creatures, which did various horrible acts to those of the Christian faith or those who persecuted the Old Gods.

Well, if he's German such name wouldn't make much sense anyway. Plus if you use a more obscure name it's more original.

-Damyan- Bulgarian form of Damianos meaning "To subdue" or "To kill".
-Fritjof - Variation of an old Norse name. It means "peace thief".
