They have the same name. It's your average Potato-Patato, Tomato-Tamato, situation.

"anyone who thinks the titans name is cronos your wrong its kronos"Despite the fact that the majority of writings, based in this myth, uses the name "Cronos". 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Hercules was the Roman spelling of it. In Greek Mythology Zeus named him Herakles after his scorned wife Hera. We all think it Hercules because of the hammy Disney movie.

Hehehe, those strange little imp like things. How did Hades die at the end of the Disney movie? He was sucked into that whirlpool thing and taken somewhere by the dead, i assume he died, that's what it looked like anyway.

I think he was pushed into one of the rivers. The Acheron or the Lethe.

I think Disney needed to make him look more like a bad guy and if he had a wife it would make them look like sinister mom and dads and who wants to do that to little kids?

It also didn't explain how he released the Titans from their prison, in mythology they were guarded by the 100 arm giants. He just broke open some strange electrical force field, and like any good villain, he doesn't kill people instantly, rather he just captures them and leaves them poorly guarded.

Well thanks to this movie now we all think Hades is evil but in a way he is not. I think he misses his wife during the summer months just as much as Demeter misses her daughter in the winter months. He might also be bitter by working with death all the time. Every time I go to a funeral I cry and get angery at myself for crying. That might be why you don't see Hades smiling ear to ear.

Thats a nice way to put it King's Call. Hades is not evil, his role is necessary. You will also see that his rule in the underworld seems more supreme than the rule of the other gods in their realms, perhaps because there is only him in the underworld, i am not sure.

He is not alone but he does have the rule over the whole lot. He might also be bitter by not being allowed on Olympus where his brothers are.

he isnt alone all the time, he has Thanatos and his brothers, even when Persephone is gone. besides, he drew the short straw when Zeus, Poseidon, and hades divided the realms among themselves
