I think I dreamed of Slenderman

Which is weird because I had no idea anything of the sort existed before 30 minutes ago when my friend told me about it. Here is a excerpt from a message on Facebook that I sent my friend about a dream I had two weeks ago:...Anyway, at a different point i was watching a guy and this older man re-papering a billboard, except it looked more like a scoreboard in this big yard surrounded by trees. They were alone and it was dark. They were puttig some kind of paper on the billboard that was yellow and red and said "EXIT" something on it. the guy looked over at the trees and saw a floating white orb that looked kind of like it cuild be the moon,. He got the attention of the man and they both looked back at it, only now it was moving and it had a tall, black, shadowy and thin body and the orb was its head. They started screaming and trying to run. The guy jumped down from the billboard but the man didn't get away. The perspective shifted into my point of veiw. I was in a house and people were coming for a sort of family reunion or get together or something. I was wandering around, trying to find something to do. I walked out side into the backyard. Then I was on the billboard with the guy who had gotten away the first time. He was nervous. I looked over an d I saw the orb thing coming toward us. I jumped off the billboard and kind of flew through the air, floating onto the back deck of the house. I fell to the ground and could not move. All I could hear from the guy behind me was screaming. I was finally able to get up, and i ran through the house and out the front door.... 52 out of 66 found this valuable. Do you? |

I never knew of Slenderman until a few months ago. My friend and I were at a Halloween party, the house was surrounded by a corn field, and then woods. We went for a walk inbetween the corn field and the woods. We saw a board covering a section of the ground, I lifted it up and it looked like the Earth had been dug up there, and then they had buried something. We tried digging, but we did not have any tools to use. It was starting to get dark(around sunset). We looked in the woods and there was a huge hole in the ground, it seemed somewhat covered by leaves. I heard a moan, and I told my friend, we listened and were going to check it out, but we had a horrible feeling just walking by the woods. There was also a carving in the tree, it was an oval shape, but I can not remember if it had an x through it (which is supposedly Slenderman's symbol that means either to keep him away, or it attracts him). We kept walking and I heard footsteps and leaves and twigs breaking at the same pace we were walking, and we were walking on a path that made no noise. I told my friend to stop, and she stopped walking. The noise stopped, so she didn't hear it. She started walking again, I told her to stop as soon as she started walking, the snapping twigs and breaking leaves were closer now. We made a run for it. I heard my name being called. We made it back to the house. My younger sister was calling my name. She asked where we were, I said walking by the woods. We looked over the corn field and saw him. We had no knowledge of what he really was at the time, we thought he was just a regular human. But, his face was blurry, he was only a corn field away, but we couldn't see his face. He was tall, he had long limbs, and was wearing a white shirt, but we could not see his pants. The part that always scares me is how we could not see his face. I never told my sister what it was we saw. My friend's older sister told my friend that it might have been Slenderman.

Continued-We had no idea wh othis Slenderman could be, and her sister showed us the videos on Youtube. We had a realization. It was Slenderman. But... Does that mean he is going to follow us? What we had in store for our future was just plain horror. Almost everywhere we went we saw him, it was worse when we were together. We had nightmares about him. When we were apart we barely ever saw him. But when we were together.. We were together alot, we are best friends. It was always difficult for us. To explain why we couldn't go to a certain place, why we would stare at something randomly in the woods with a terrified look in our eyes, when people somewhat saw him to. We have so many stories. All of which we want so badly to share, but there isn't a Slenderman Support Group is there? We don't want to tell our friends, afraid of what will happen to them. I told a friend once, we were walking through the woods to her house, I was so scared. She asked why I was scared, and I told her everything. She was ohkay, never saw him or dreamed about him. I told another friend while walking with her, she wondered why I was so paranoid. I told her everything, she had the exact opposite effect as my other friend. She said she was scared all of the time, she had dreams about him almost every night, but she doesn't think she has seen him following her. I will tell you one more story. I was with my friend who I have experienced all of this with, we were in Wisconsin for a family vacation I had invited her to. In the car it was my mom, her boyfriend, my sister, my cousin, my friend, and me. I never told anyone in my family about Slenderman, afraid they would think I was crazy. IWe were all on our way to visit Cave of the Mounds (that place is really amazing) and my cousin, who was 8 at the time, why does that tall man have sticks in his hands as he walks? Is he homeless? We were driving through woods at the time (Wisconsin is mostly woods in the part of we were at).

Continued 2-My friend and I look at each other at the same time, and try to see where Slenderman was at, and how he had followd us this far, this was out of state vacation, we thought it was vacation from EVERYTHING. The trees around us made it hard to tell where he was at. I saw nothing, but my friend stated she saw something black go behind a tree. We were paranoid the rest of the trip, where we were staying was a few miles in the woods. After my experiences I hate camping, I hate going in the woods, I hate being alone, and I hate the dark. These things can drive us crazy. Lets hope he stays away. I haven't seen him in a while, and neither has my friend. But we haven't been thinking about him lately, so maybe that helps? We are still paranoid though. Hopefully he won't come back twice as hard. I hope I helped, you can tell people to go to this, I don't care whether or not you believe this. I'm the friend that Allthingslive243 was talking about. I've only seen Slenderman a few times from when I'm not with her. Once, I was walking with my friend that has woods by her house. We were walking in the woods and both of us didn't know who Slenderman was at the time. It was silent for a couple seconds until she got a scared look on her face and I was like, "What?" and she said, "There's a kid with a red shirt on, wait, he's gone. Now there's a really tall guy with a black shirt on!" and I was like, "WHAT? Who is it?!" and she was like, "It looks like he has no face, I can't see his face!" and I FREAKED OUT. Soon, I forgot about it, but I never wanted to go into her woods again after what my sister showed me. She showed me all those MarbleHornets videos on youtube and I never really remembered that until a little bit ago. When I was in 2nd grade, I had a dream that I was sleeping in my mom's room and there was a window by where I was. Then, I saw a big, long, shadowy-thing come in through the window. I was scared, so I pulled the blankets over my head. Then, I felt like I was picked up gently, and I was being carried away, like, kidnapped. I'm pretty sure it was a dream, though. Anyway, I hope you don't get all mixed up with Slendy as we did. It drove me crazy for a while, but now I'm okay. For now. i had a dream about the slender too mine took place in my childhood i was with 2 girls and i was looking around and i saw him (slenderman) i said to those girls run we have to go now we scearmind all the way got to my house lock doors but slender man somehow he open the door he got 1 of his arms grabe me i was in the woods slenderman standing in front of me with the two girl hung next to me.

Taylor, I wish we could somehow, I don't know, make Slenderman disappear.. We could be like the ghostbusters, but for Slenderman. It suprises me how much mythical creatures really do exist. I used to believe in just Angels. Now I believe in things that are not only good, but evil. I wish there was just something we could do to protect everyone. And you know the wolf thing? Some of my family was talking about how there was a mountain lion or something on the loose over by here. I don't think it was the mountain lion, but maybe it could be? Back to topic. When I had dreams of Slenderman, one of them was this:I was walking to a friend's house (The one you saw Slenderman with and the guy in the red shirt) in the dark. She lives in a col-de-sac. On one side of the col-de-sac their is her house, on the other side their is woods. Well Slenderman was their, and he was coming for me. I started ruuning. And for some reason another friend's house was their instead of the original friend's house. I went in their and decided to stay the night, not wanting to leave the safty of a house. The scene changed. I was in this big house. The neighboring house connected to this house through a secret passage. Slenderman had taken over the town, and the survivors were staying in these houses. A bunch of people went on the roof to help me defend the houses, we threw things at Slenderman, but he would eventual climb on the roof, and we would have to run inside. I had to take care of everyone and try to get rid of Slenderman. I don't remember if I survived or not. I had a different dream abou thim to that I would like to share. I was with a bunch of friends, and it was Halloween. You know the Labyrinth from Greek Mythology? Well my friends-random people I don't know who they were- and I had to go in it and find our way out. We knew we could be lost forever, but we had to go and get something that I guess was very important. 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

The post before me was me posting, forgot to sign in! Anyways:Every once in a while we had to answer a riddle to continue. We would off and on be teleported to different places. Once we got kind of far in it, Slenderman started following us. We knew we had to run for our lives, and we went through places that seemed like fire escapes, mazes made of hedges, and it was all in the dark. Eventually we made it to this Halloween party. Slenderman had almost gotten us, and when we got to the party we felt relieved, but we knew he was watching. I believe that was it. I think he caught up to us a few times, but it felt like he wanted something we had. I don't know what, but he wanted something from us.. -ATL243 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

(This is Taylor, too lazy to sign in)When did you have this dream? You never told me about it before. That's pretty creepy. I haven't had a dream about him in a long time, and I'm so glad. Maybe he isn't haunting me anymore. I still have those times where I get a feeling as though someone is watching me and I still hate being in the dark, fearing what would be in it (Slenderman). But oh well, atleast the sightings and dreams have stopped. :D Do you find this valuable? |
