i cant beleive they r listd as fictunall! othrekin r totly reel!!!! i saw 1 jsut ystrday, it wuz on my lj, an it tol me abutt beeng a elf/mermiad/catgurl alean. i wuz soo scaerd, til i blocked its comments, n it went awei.Seriously, though, it seems a little odd that the Otherkin are listed as fictional. They may not actually be elf-mermaid-Na'vi, but they are, sadly, real people. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Otherkin, is not just a term used as a title tor people who believe they are other creatures, it is also used as the name of creatures and things which resemble humans, but are not humans, also called "the Others". There are many beliefs of the Ancients, who were inhuman, but very similar, some even would say superior to us, and that they dwelt upon earth before humans ever existed. It is mainly a catch all term and can really be used for anything, but one of it's uses is indeed, for people who believe they are something more than human.
