Dreams again. Too many variables.Demonic invasion, personal symbolism, instinctive association with evil, etc... Perhaps if you descried the dreams to us. Unless, of cause, by hallucinations you refer to something else. Do you find this valuable? |

ok well to begin with, they arent dreams. Since i was young i have had little "phases" were i begin to feel ill and hallucinate. I thought it was normal untill i was about 11 and told my sister about it. She has been there to try and stop me screaming in the night, its not just this creature that i saw.. but it is by far the most memorable. It walks into my room very slowly, its stood on back legs, about 7ft tall, back always perfectly straight. im sorry i didnt reply sooner, i guess i wasnt expecting a serious reply.

And in your first post, you clearly know that what you were seeing is not real, in any sense, by stating that they were but hallucinations, a product of the human mind. Have you ever considered, that perhaps you experience a form of mild psychosis? The human brain is powerful, far more so than people give it credit for. It can conjure things, which are 100% real to ourselves, but not to others, such creatures trigger all of our senses, thus making them real and giving them substance. Yet they are still just thoughts and ideas, given form and reality by ourselves and our mind. I experience such things myself. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

No, i was always awake. I have considered that it could be a form of psychosis, as afterwards i can always remember the episode perfectly and know it to be a figment of my imagination. Yet what i could never understand was how could an eight year old mind conjure up such vivid and disturbing images? and also, if during an episode i can tell myself repeatedly that what i am seeing is not real.. and hence believe this, then why did i continue to hallucinate?

Because telling yourself and knowing is one thing, getting your body and mind to believe it, when all of it's senses are saying that it is 100% real, is another story. When i suffer from visual hallucinations, i know that logically they are not there, but because they trigger every sense and can interact with the real world, as if they are real, then i can't convince my brain to believe that they are not there, thus they remain.Belief and knowing are two very different things. And we are not in total control over our own minds and bodies, when something so disturbing appears near to us, having it's own smells, sounds, form and can interact with the real world, physically, then your body will not think, but react, thus either you will feel fear or you will try and fight. There is no escaping it, those two basic instincts overrule any sense of logic, no matter what. It's why people don't think while in a fight, and sometimes death can occur due to such a bestial nature. man is still but a beast. Age doesn't matter with such things and supposedly such things can occur from not only a traumatic life, severe mental pain and stress, but from also a limitless supply of creativity, in other words, we make the creatures we fear, by creating them in our heads and our minds create them in reality, well for us to see. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. I think you need to speak to a religious leader. Did you look for this creature not knowing about it prior to seeing it here? There are animalistic daemons and if it is haunting you you may need help. I think that you being aware of the hallucinations is very important, but awareness does not mean you are not sufferring mental disorder or defect. Based on the vile and violent nature of this creature, it may possible be something to seek serious help from. There are other explanations for vivid hallucinations but psychologically speaking I would seek a psychic, tell them nothing just ask if there is evil around you. If they can give specifics without leading you into conversation (cold-reading) then I would seek their council and then proceed to religious support. Be vary weary of charlatans and people who will swindle you, most psychics are crooks.
