Matilda *blood curdling scream*
Feb 8 2010, 1:02 PM EST
Yeah, I have a ghost in my house, I think she's trying to kill me...Whenever I'm alone in my house she comes out, she usually walks around upstairs, and she opens and closes doors, then at night if I'm still alone, she comes into my room and just stares at me. I named her Matilda *blood curdling scream* And I just put the *blood curdling scream* thing there cuz it's fun xD BUT! I'm ascared, because she told me she's gonna kill me... 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

First thing to do is, don't panic, and then-wait! You already panicked didn't you? You're are so doomed...ON the off chance that you're not then please remember that the ordinary ghost, no matter how malevolent, cannot kill. Months of persistence can drive you insane enough for you to commit suicide, but it will be likely that you've attracted professional help by them. It would help know more about said ghost. Most cases have to spirit leave on its own. But it is important to know if there is a history of sightings, and how many people have said to have seen this apparition. Do you find this valuable? |

OK, I already panicked...But I'm OK... I think... Anyway, my Stepdad said he saw the ghost, and my sister, and numerous other people, so I don't think I'm crazy. But I do think she WANTS to kill me, even if she can't she wants to. And this is completely off subject, but I play Owl City at least twice a day in my room (where she usually appears) and every time I do my curtains move all around (even if there's no wind) and something falls off my dresser, do you think that means she doesn't like Owl City? Should I stop playing it so much? Do you find this valuable? |

If its mainly family that have seen it and it has no recorded history, or there is no unhappy past to do with a death and your house, then I would judge this type of ghost to be the petty type. It's like a child throwing a tantrum. If you stop playing Owl City then it will find another activity of yours to show disapproval at. In speculation, these ghosts can be some of the most troublesome of the ordinary types. The best test to see if it is the kind of ghost I fear is to sleep elsewhere for a couple of days. Should you still be haunted when in this new location then that's not...good. Without professional help, the best you can hope for is for the ghost to turn its attentions to someone else close to you. Do you find this valuable? |

Jeez, sounds like the poltergiest in Harry Potter...Kay, um, if I'm NOT haunted in another room when I sleep, should I move in to that room? Cuz I don't really think that would work out all that well... And I played Owl City again today and she broke one of my candles... Do you find this valuable? |

My opinion is similar to dous's. Get professional help. AND I would keep a cross, a rossary, and holy water handy. and salt. Some ghosts can make manifestations of physical power. But I highly doubt thats your case. Do you find this valuable? |

"Jeez, sounds like the poltergiest in Harry Potter...If not haunted then I confess I don't really know. With no history and no family held grudge then it just seems like a random haunting. It could leave by itself or just carry on as it is now. Plus I meant sleep elsewhere as in another building. Sleepover, hotel, break into the furniture shop, whatever. If after a couple of nights you are not bothered then you can go back to your room. And yes the only sure fire way to be rid of it would be the professional thing. Though I don't think Ghostbusters advertises anymore. Do you find this valuable? |

Ok...@Dragon, I don't keep crosses or rosaryys or holy water around my house, against my religion... but salt? What in the world would SALT do????? @Dous, Yeah, your opinios are helpful and all, but I can't really do ANY of those things, I can't stay over at a friends house cuz I have no friends, and all my relatives hate me and won't let me, and I have no money for a hotel, and I don't have a criminal record tyvm, and where would I find proffesional help at??? Though I probably wouldn't be able to afford that either, it sucks being haunted when your poor... Do you find this valuable? |

"Ok...Salt is said to have some purifying powers. A cirle of salt for example was said to keep out some witches and the like. Tell me about your religion, I may figure something out. Do you find this valuable? |

Erm... Water is a symbol of purification. When a holy person blesses and gives through a blessing a holy aura to water, the water carries the power of purification through it. thats the theory. technically it comes from what jesus did of using water to bring the holy spirity upon the water for baptism, and healing like when he healed the blind man. In the bible he blessed his disiples. which then blessed their dissiples and so on. Basically holy water is water indirectly blessed by jesus. How is that against religion of Jehnova's witness?
