There is no Cthulu because Cthulu is not a myth. Cthulu is a god of chaos and destruction. Ia! Ia! Cthulu Fataghn!Same for Yog Sothoth, Yig, Azathoth, Nyarlathotep, Shub Niggurath, and Dagon. 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Why don't you sign up for this site? You obviously have great information on mythical subjects. Think about it.

"I can't believe there s no Cthulu!!!!"Cthulu was made up by H.P. Lovecraft, a horror/fiction writer. The first Cthulu story appeared in a horror/science fiction magazine around WWI. If you look it up i'm sure you will find all this information. However epic Cthulu can be, ultimately he did not spawn from a belief system but from a short story; and as such is about as mythology related as the character harry potter (how ever much un-epic harry is) BUT...Cthulu was inspired by other mythological creatures (which are based on ancient beliefs) and fictional creatures (which like Cthulu are not "real"<<<please note the quotations) Do you find this valuable? |

Many people use ancient deities names for fictional ones, Warhammer did it with Nergal. Do you find this valuable? |
