its an aeon and its on final fantasy x and probably x2 but thats simply because its used as a reference to explain why its fayth always explains things to the main characters and why its helps defeat sin. since its namesake is a being that despises evil and also a king of dragons it fit the story and the character since he is both wise and helpful while hating sin. so they used its name. long story short its a way to avoid the question of why its always specifically bahamut/bahamuts fayth helping out so much.
