I believe in them. Eyesight of humans obviously isn't the best compared to what other creatures can see-they could be in right in our backyards, but we see them as regular garden lizards. They could be living underground, sleeping perhaps, or maybe the ocean. They could be in the clouds too; they are magical, aren't they? 9  out of 10 found this valuable. Do you?

Personally, I think wizards could exist, just like harry potter, and they hide all the magical creatures like dragons and such. So yes, I believe dragons could exist. I do not believe that they do, nor do I believe they don't, I simply believe that it is possible. 9  out of 9 found this valuable. Do you?

history proves that dragons did exist. read the holy bible there are several references to dragons. but are generally referred to as beasts.
while not in the bible one of
the most well known is the legend of ST. George. who as a knight slew 14 dragons.
and supposedly the last known dragon. he was later tortured to death during a crusades after admiting to being christian.

dragons appear in most cultures, so they must be real. all cultures refer to dragons as being magical. I don't believe that so many cultures could come up with the same myths if dragons had never existed.
the reason their not seen any more is most likely they where hunted to the point of extinction. 9  out of 11 found this valuable. Do you?

I believe in anything. I have an obsession of learning about the different ancient cultures. My favorite is greek mythology. I want to know every myth and every god and every beast. 7  out of 9 found this valuable. Do you?

Hmm. Good question.

Well, I suppose it's possible they AREN'T magical; the fire breathing ability could be just how they're body works, how much heat they can take in, then maybe be able to manipulate it somehow and "breathe" it. Flying, of course, because they have broad, strong wings...but then again, that's just a type of dragon I think of immediatly-you know, like the fire-breathing reddish orange lizard with translucent wings and horns, scales, etc. etc. Some may not even have wings, or even feet. Anyways...if they weren't able to, say, live in the clouds or sleep underground so far that humans haven't been able to find them, they might be living on undiscovered islands in the ocean. Or maybe somehow moved to a different world (I'm serious about this). If they were related to how lizards behave and live...honestly, they could be in places we'd think is too obvious, like maybe in a tree (err...a BIG tree), under a house, swimming somewhere in the ocean and taking breaks on islands. I don't know where they live, but I'm 100% sure they exist. 7  out of 7 found this valuable. Do you?

Yes.I truly do.But I personally think that the whole fire-breathing thing is just a fantasy.A COOL fantasy,but a fantasy nontheless.Scientists have shown the remaining fossils of lizards long ago that DID fly through the air,DID have wings,and DID have four legs as well,which is one of the strongest arguements,that no animal could possibly have more than four limbs.Imagine that!Lizards flying through the air with wings!And I believe that dinosaurs and dragons are the same as well.The concept of large lizards,some meat eaters,walking the earth is just a little too close for luck. 4  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?

in the bible it talks about a beast that could breathe fire...it use to eat rocks and maybe the minerals from the rocks could have made a combustion to where that beast would breathe fire...and the minerals from the rocks would make the scales way way harder that even diamonds....that people attacks them with spears and other of their weapons and it just...falls to the ground..i dont remember if it had wings..but it mainly describes it closely to a dragon..they r still alive today...aswell and every creature in the bible..they just adapted to our changing climates and maybe deformed in a way that they aren't like what we see in drawings or movies..but as we see them today..or just somewhere like other continents like asia where there have been over 300 sightings of dragons...and not like the drawings..but kinda ghost like...small and undetectable to the naked eye..until u capture a pic of it or a film..but yea..that is what i think...and i strongly believe in dragons 4  out of 4 found this valuable. I think that dragons existed above ground but the rudeness of humans frightened as they were hunted and killed. I think that maybe now they live below the Earth's crust. In 'hell' as it were. I think the 'fire breathing' might have been the forge of oxygen, nitrogen and carbon dioxide in their lungs making a combination with some sort or gas inside their body. So when they breath out it comes out as fire. Also If dragons didn't once exist then how did we get 'The Komodo Dragon'? I mean what else could it be named after... 5  out of 5 found this valuable.
