Why do these guys fight with each other so much? I mean, they ARE supposed to be brother brother relatives, right? I'm just wondering......................... 3  out of 6 found this valuable. Do you?

The fighting is nothing more that a fictional / hollywood concoction. The two have never had an encounter. There has been no recording of this. 0  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

A lot of people make this mistake because of books and films. Trying to get this point across is a REALLY tough one. Do you find this valuable?

For movies they are good. It's when they change the belief that it gets annoying (or when they get it totally wrong but that may be because I am fussy about details)

It's like PhantomsPlay said."the two most powerful creatures just punch eachother to death equals great money at the box office" - but I would think they are not the most powerful, but rather the most popular. Do you find this valuable?

"Well, I'm all HOORAH! 4 The Vamps! but it all depends on which mytharc/folklore you're going with to which is the most powerful creature.

Traditionally, they've both got pro's & con's-But I'd say a Vamp is the 'most' powerful because it's always a vamp. A Were has to wait for it's time of the month. LOL. But then you have the school of thought, Were's can just go where they please & Vamps must be invited into ones home by the owner-not just anyone who resides within.

My fave Novels mentioning both Vamps & Were's, thou not necessarily Vamps Vs. Weres-that bores me:
Brian Lumleys-Necroscope Series (More Vamp at the start though)

Laurell K Hamiltons- Anita Blake Vampire Hunter Series (The beginning ones were better, the later turned decidedly sappy-erotica like.)

Jim Butchers-Harry Dresdin Files, Vamps & Weres show up in both, but not a main theme.

Stephen King's-Salem's Lot

Edgar Allen Poe's-Morella"
Vamp Films:
Innocent Blood
Blood & Donuts
Nadja
Shadow Of The Vampire
Salem's Lot
Blade: Trilogy (though they could have done a better script w/ the last one.)
Chin Gei Bin-Careful to get the one that's not heavily edited, or it'll be a crap-tastic B-fest, as it is, it's an action-horror comedy. But I like it none the less.

Were Films:
Dog Soldiers
Black Sheep
Silver Bullet

"Underworld 1 & 2"-looked good, but egads! The storey line did nothing for me. It was really irritating because it was touted as something fresh & new & it read like Vampire: The Masquerade Meets Werewolf the RPG. So did "Blood & Chocolate" But it looked good too.

Max Schreck: I don't think we need the writer any longer
F.W. Murnau: Go ahead! Eat the writer! That will leave you explaining how your character gets to Bremen!

"Ravenite, It only sounds gross, 1 of the characters works in a donut shop as a counter girl. It's more of a romantic horror dramedy."
Gaaragirl1996, Do you mean threads w/ more than one pg? Or do you mean threads where people take the time to give a detailed answer-opinion that's more than one sylablle?

Either way, my answer's no, not really. So long as the poster doesn't seem to be babbling.

Got to agree with Kits on this one. A long threads (assuming it makes sense) makes for a good talk, debate or laugh. 4  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?
