pegasus
Jun 10 2008, 7:20 PM EDT On your first mentioning of pegasus on this page wouldn't it be better to say pegasi? If that's how you spell it any way. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jun 11 2008, 3:55 AM EDT Point. Though at the moment it's just a list. If it is in the Greek Mythology section we may keep it as it is as more people will identify it as the horse from the legends. also, just needed a bit of clarification. Wasn't pegasus the name of the winged horse rather than the species? 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: pegasus
Jun 15 2008, 11:06 PM EDT Ravenite & Pegasus, "Pegasus" is an actual character-constellation in Greek Mythology. But in this day and age, you could use the term "pegasus" or "pterippus" / pl: "pegasi" or "pterippi" respectively to mean 'Any' winged horse.
