what could it be?

My son says he saw a little man walk through our house. He was about three ft tall, standing erect, sort of slumping posture. He was covered on brown fur. 2  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

A type of pixie, gremlin, goblin or hobgoblin? It's hard to tell. possibly the hobgoblin more. 4  out of 5 found this valuable. Do you?

Anonymous, I was thinking perhaps a Brownie..though I've usually heard of them being clothed, though I've seen drawings of them done a bit furry. which isn't to say I've never heard of them wearing animal pelts, or being in the buff. Not like I'm best pals with one..the only Brownies I know are the ones I make in the oven w/ cocoa & the ones that used to be in my GS Troop with me. <G>

I've never seen photos of pixies covered with fur, unless it was clothing. Gremlin-possible, usually seen by people in flight (passenger-pilots etc..) Goblin-possible as well, though it'd have to be a small one, they're said to be much taller in tales & fables. So I'd say if Ravenite was right, hobgoblin, which are usually half the size of goblins...but I have to say, I've never heard of either being 'hairy' or 'furry'.

My gag suggestion is if it was the kitchen, using your pots and pans making gourmet food-then your child might have wonderfully imagined Ratatoulie.

I used to have Super Human Powers...but my Therapist took them away
