RE: Where's the Kraken?
Sep 8 2008, 12:29 PM EDT The Kraken is most definitely part of Greek mythology. He's best known for his role in the myth of Perseus and Andromeda. Perseus saves Andromeda, who has been chained to a rock to appease the monster, and, once he saves her, Andromeda becomes his bride. Charybdis and Scylla would also be interesting additions to your page. Here's a link to a blog entry created by a student in my classical myth class: http://classicalmyth.wordpress.com/2008/08/06/charybdis-scylla/ Please give him credit if you borrow heavily from his entry or if you quote him. Nice page! I wish I had time to join . . . . So many wikis; so little time. :) 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
